Promise is an overdrive effect; meticulously honed to deliver a range of driven tones to your favorite amplifier. Blending several different beloved overdrive archetypes, Promise uses op amp soft clipping to add sparkle, grit, and a touch of compression to your sound. Anything but transparent, the EQ curve has been carefully set to push your midrange just enough to help you stand out but without losing low end or sounding overbearing. At low gain settings, your picked notes and arpeggiated chords jump out. Higher gain settings allow for a satisfying riffing crunch. Of course, Promise is designed to partner perfectly with your favorite pedals!
